KAD Front Anti Roll Bar is an ideal addition to any Mini.
The Mini with a high roll centre benefits from the fitment of anti-roll bars to help eliminate unwanted body roll. The fitment of an anti-roll bar helps to prevent body roll without the need to fit or adjust shock absorbers to full stiffness, which on a road car means you can gain performance whilst retaining comfort.
KAD’s anti-roll bars fit without protruding beneath the car and are supplied in 5/8” or 3/4" bar diameter and come with all of the necessary fitting hardware. The bars themselves are Zinc plated for corrosion resistance.
Two Kits versions are available:
- The Bolt-on Kit is simple to fit kit and poly block mounted. This is the preferred option and low maintenance is required. This option is suitable for both Road and Race use.
- The Weld-on Kit requires the roll bar brackets to be welded to the subframe. The bar itself is then 2 pieces for easy fitment. The benefits of this kit are that the roll bar is more direct, along with extra ground clearance gained which can be vital on competition cars. Drop links are then used to connect the roll bar to the top arm. Drop links are adjustable so you can set the bar to zero pre-load. (Weld-on Kit is Not Recommended for Road Use!).
